Todd enjoys helping clients work towards recovery through techniques in developing awareness and mindfulness. One tenet of Todd’s style is learning to participate in the Here-and-Now. He focuses on introspection, self-observation, and the relationship between a client and his or her environment. In addition to these methods, Todd also conducts dream-work to assist clients in discovering and conquering their hidden resentments. Todd is an artistic person and loves to integrate creative interventions as well as humor in his therapeutic style. He believes this allows clients to become more comfortable with therapy and difficult situations.

Todd has previously worked with clients recovering from domestic violence, sexual assault or trauma, and childhood sexual abuse. He has experience working with youth and young adults in a religious atmosphere. In Fall of 2018, Todd founded the only support group for male survivors of sexual assault in the state of Georgia.

Todd Rugg is operating under the direction of the Clinical Director, Andrew R. Warnecke, LPC.
